The Manual Band Parents, Inc. sponsor fund raising events such as a Trivia Night, 99 Pledges, Kizito cookie dough, Car Washes, Kroger Cards, Music in the Parks Festival, etc. These programs offer the opportunity for our band to earn money for the general band fund and help keep membership costs down as low as possible.
The Band Boosters usually meet the 3rd Monday of every month at YPAS at 7 pm. During the fall season, meetings will be held right after band practice concludes on a Tuesday evening starting at 5:45 pm. All parents are strongly encouraged to attend the meetings and volunteer their services with this very worthwhile organization. Attending the meetings will keep you up to date on the band’s activities, needs, and concerns. It will also give you a chance to provide needed feedback and present your ideas on how we maintain the high level of excellence expected in the Crimson Sound. Only with your help can we make our organization one of the greatest activities duPont Manual has to offer!
The band program relies on general fundraising with guidance from the band boosters to maintain our yearly operating budget.
