__ July 22– 26 (M-F) Band Camp Week #1 for ALL MEMBERS Practice Field/YPAS
8:30 am – 4:30 pm (Bring your own lunch. Snacks provided by the band boosters).

__ July 29- Aug. 2 (M-F) Band Camp Week #2 for ALL MEMBERS Practice Field/YPAS
8:30 am – 5:30 pm (Bring your own lunch. Snacks provided by the band boosters).

__ August 5 (Mon) Post Camp Rehearsal for ALL MEMBERS Band Practice Field
5 pm – 9 pm

__ August 6 (Tues) Post Camp Rehearsal & Preview Show/Parent Meeting

Note: All dates listed on this page are mandatory for all band members. Pre-camp and Band Camp is where we learn our entire show production(s), marching style, choreography, etc. Please contact. Mr. Gregory ASAP at [email protected] should you have any legitimate academic conflicts (GSA and GSP camps are generally the conflicts considered).

AFTER SCHOOL REHEARSALS:
These are required rehearsals. An unexcused absence from rehearsal will count as a zero. (Please see grading policy). Marching Band is A HALF CREDIT CLASS and students do receive academic grades through the first semester of the year.

Tuesdays & Thursdays (Everyone)
3:00 - 5:30 pm

Fridays (Sectionals for Everyone)
3:00 - 5:00 pm

Game Day Fridays (Everyone)
2:45 - 4:00 pm, dinner break and report back at 5:15 pm. Depart for stadium at 6:15 pm. We usually return from the stadium around 10 pm with a parent pickup time at YPAS of 10:30 pm.

The after school rehearsal schedule will last from from approximately August 8th through November 8th (if needed). We usually wrap up at the end of October after the State Championships. We sometimes play home playoff games in the first 2 Friday's of November but only if the team has a winning season. At that point, we just pay in the stands as a pep band and do not wear uniforms or perform our competitive show production.
