The duPont Manual Band Boosters Organization: "Manual Band Parents, Inc"
The purpose of this organization is to raise funds and provide support services as requested by the band director in order to maintain the band program at the level of excellence that the students and community deserves. The organization is governed by an executive committee which consists of President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Fundraising Chair. From this committee smaller committees are created and delegated jobs such as uniform maintenance, organizing trips, etc. 2016-2017 Executive Committee
Katrissca Howard (Angel Gross's mother) Secretary (1st Term) firstname.lastname@example.org The Manual Band Parents, Inc. sponsor fund raising events such as a trivia night, cookie dough sales, candy bar sales, umbrella sales, Applebees pancake breakfast, Kroger Cards, Tervis Tumbler sales, candle sales, etc. These programs offer the opportunity for families to help earn money towards the general band fund and lower the overall membership costs.
The Band Boosters usually meet the 3rd Monday of every month at YPAS from 7 -8 pm. EVERY CRIMSON SOUND BAND PARENT IS A BAND BOOSTER. All parents are strongly encouraged to attend the meetings and volunteer their services with this very worthwhile organization. Attending the meetings will keep you up to date on the band’s activities, needs, and concerns. It will also give you a chance to provide needed feedback and present your ideas on how we maintain the high level of excellence expected in the Crimson Sound. Only with your help can we make our organization one of the greatest activities duPont Manual has to offer!
